Overview
Founded as WVU's business program and later formalized as the College of Business and Economics, the school was renamed in 2019 in honor of alumnus John Chambers, former CEO of Cisco Systems, after his historic $50 million donation—the largest ever received by WVU. The college offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in business, economics, and related fields, and has built a reputation for entrepreneurship education, experiential learning, and strong placement into finance, consulting, and management roles. It is accredited by AACSB International, placing it among the top tier of business schools worldwide.
