Overview
The Kania School of Management is the business school of the University of Scranton, a Jesuit Catholic institution founded in 1888. Named after alumnus and benefactor Arthur J. Kania, the school has built a strong regional and national reputation for its accounting, finance, and business programs, holding AACSB International accreditation for both its business and accounting programs, a distinction earned by only a small percentage of business schools worldwide. It is particularly well regarded for its accounting program, which consistently produces high CPA exam pass rates and strong placement with major accounting firms.
