Overview
The Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science was established as part of the University of San Diego, growing out of the university's founding health sciences programs and later renamed in honor of major benefactors. It has become one of the most respected nursing schools in California, known for its rigorous undergraduate and graduate nursing curricula, strong clinical partnerships throughout San Diego, and consistently high NCLEX-RN pass rates. The school also houses the Beyster Institute for Nursing Research and offers doctoral programs (DNP and PhD) that emphasize evidence-based practice and health policy leadership.
