Overview
The Scott and White School of Nursing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was established through a partnership between UMHB and the Scott and White Healthcare system (now part of Baylor Scott & White Health), leveraging clinical expertise and facilities to build a rigorous nursing curriculum. UMHB itself was founded in 1845 as a Baptist-affiliated institution, one of the oldest universities in Texas, and the nursing school has grown to become one of its most respected professional programs, known for strong NCLEX pass rates and close ties to regional hospital systems.
