The Leo J. Meehan School of Business is the business school of Stonehill College, a Catholic college founded in 1948 by the Congregation of Holy Cross in Easton, Massachusetts. Named in honor of longtime benefactor Leo J. Meehan, the school holds AACSB accreditation, an honor earned by a small fraction of business programs worldwide. It is best known for integrating a rigorous liberal arts foundation with hands-on business education, with business among the most popular majors on campus.
Students experience a small-college environment with low student-faculty ratios, close faculty mentoring, and a strong emphasis on internships, the Stonehill Investment Program, and global learning. The school offers a required experiential curriculum, including internships and the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience, plus study abroad options. The campus community is close-knit and service-oriented, reflecting Holy Cross values, and graduates benefit from an engaged alumni network in the Boston and Providence regions.
