Overview
The Chaifetz School of Business traces its roots to Saint Louis University's early business programs and was formally renamed in 2018 following a landmark $30 million gift from alumnus Richard A. Chaifetz, founder and CEO of ComPsych Corporation. As part of SLU, the oldest university west of the Mississippi River and a Jesuit institution founded in 1818, the business school has built a reputation for combining rigorous quantitative training with a values-based, ethics-driven curriculum. It is particularly well regarded for its programs in finance, supply chain management, and its AACSB-accredited MBA program, and maintains close ties to the St. Louis business community.
