Overview
Founded as part of Rochester Institute of Technology, the Saunders College of Business was renamed in 2008 following a major gift from alumnus B. Thomas Golisano, and later formally named after philanthropist E. Philip Saunders. The college has built a strong reputation for blending business education with RIT's deep technology and design orientation, producing graduates skilled in analytics, entrepreneurship, and technology management. It is known for its cooperative education program, which places students in paid, real-world business roles before graduation.
