Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine (Noorda-COM) is a private, non-profit medical school in Provo, Utah, established through a gift from the Noorda family, founders of the software company Novell. The college received accreditation from the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) and enrolled its inaugural class of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) students in 2021. As a newer institution, it is building its reputation on a focus on rural and underserved care, primary care, and whole-person osteopathic medicine.
The campus is a single-purpose medical education environment with a close-knit, collaborative culture and small cohorts. Students train in modern simulation and anatomy facilities and complete clinical rotations through partner hospitals and clinics across Utah and the Intermountain West. The curriculum integrates osteopathic manipulative medicine, early clinical exposure, and community service, with an emphasis on wellness and service to underserved populations.
