Overview
Milwaukee School of Engineering was founded in 1903 and has long been known primarily for its engineering, technology, and business programs, but it expanded into healthcare education by establishing its School of Nursing to meet growing regional demand for highly trained nurses. The nursing program was developed to leverage MSOE's strengths in applied, hands-on, and technology-integrated learning, producing graduates skilled in both patient care and modern healthcare systems. MSOE's overall reputation rests on small class sizes, direct faculty mentorship, and strong industry and clinical partnerships throughout the Milwaukee area.
