Overview

The College of Business Administration is part of Loyola Marymount University, formed in 1973 through the merger of Loyola University of Los Angeles and Marymount College, with roots dating to 1911. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person and 'men and women for others,' CBA is accredited by AACSB International and is known for its emphasis on ethics, social justice, and sustainability in business. It is consistently ranked among the top undergraduate business programs in the West and is especially recognized for its entrepreneurship, marketing, and entertainment-related business offerings.

CBA is located on LMU's bluff-top campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Westchester, minutes from LAX, Silicon Beach, and downtown Los Angeles. Small class sizes, close faculty mentorship, and the Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship, the Center for Ethical Business, and the Burns Center for Real Estate give students hands-on learning and networking opportunities. Students benefit from proximity to LA's media, tech, and finance employers, a strong alumni network, and internships throughout Southern California, along with a vibrant campus community of service and spiritual life.
