Overview
Established in 2016 through the merger of Cornell's Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, and the School of Hotel Administration, the SC Johnson College of Business unified Cornell's business education under one umbrella while preserving each school's distinct identity. The Johnson Graduate School of Management traces its roots to 1946, and the School of Hotel Administration, founded in 1922, is widely regarded as the pioneer of hospitality business education. Collectively, the college is known for rigorous quantitative training, strong industry connections, and consistently high rankings across undergraduate, MBA, and specialized master's programs.
