Overview
The Weatherhead School of Management was established in 1908 as Case Western Reserve University's business education division and was formally named in 1986 after a major gift from Albert J. Weatherhead III. The school gained international recognition for co-developing competency-based management education and emotional intelligence research alongside faculty like Richard Boyatzis, and it has built a strong reputation in organizational behavior, design and innovation, and nonprofit management. Its iconic Peter B. Lewis Building, designed by Frank Gehry, has become a symbol of the school's innovative approach to management education.
