Overview
The Craig School of Business traces its roots to the founding of Fresno State's business programs in the mid-20th century, later renamed in recognition of a major gift from Ernest and Julio Gallo's family associate Leon S. Peters and subsequent benefactor support, with the school formally named the Craig School of Business in 2003 following a lead gift from the Craig family. It holds AACSB International accreditation for both its business and accounting programs, placing it among a select group of business schools with this dual distinction, and it has built a strong regional reputation for producing accountants, agribusiness leaders, and entrepreneurs who serve California's Central Valley economy. The school is particularly well known for its agricultural business program, one of the few of its kind nationally, reflecting Fresno State's location in one of the world's most productive agricultural regions.
