Overview
AdventHealth University, formerly Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, was founded to train healthcare professionals for the Seventh-day Adventist affiliated AdventHealth hospital system, and its Department of Nursing has grown into one of the university's flagship academic units. The program is known for its whole-person care philosophy, integrating clinical rigor with spiritual and ethical foundations, and for close clinical partnerships with AdventHealth's extensive hospital network across Central Florida. Graduates consistently perform well on NCLEX licensure exams and are recruited directly into AdventHealth facilities.
